Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens to your data when you visit this website.

This website is operated by Lowe Frequency Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12089042, trading as The Bob Godfrey Collection.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service, to see how many people visit the site and which pages (including BG Player) they use. Plausible doesn't use cookies and doesn't collect or store any personal data. It can't identify you individually, and there's no profile or record kept of your visit. Because of this, no cookie consent banner is needed or shown.

We do not collect email addresses through analytics, and we do not sell or share any data with third parties for advertising.

Anonymous donation reference

The site generates a random ID stored in your browser using local storage rather than a cookie, so that, if you choose to donate via the Stripe button on BG Player, the resulting payment can be tagged with that ID in our Stripe account. This is separate from Plausible, which never sees this ID. It's not personally identifiable on its own and is never combined with your name, email, or payment details on our side.

Payments

Donations and artwork purchases are processed entirely by our payment providers: Stripe (for donations) and e-junkie (for the Store), not by us directly. When you pay, you're providing your card and contact details to them, governed by their own privacy policies:

Within our Stripe and e-junkie dashboards, we can see limited details of each transaction, such as the card type, the last four digits of the card number, and the billing address. This information stays within Stripe's and e-junkie's own systems; we never download, export, or store it ourselves.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking you across other websites. The only browser storage used is the anonymous local-storage ID described above.

Your rights

You can ask us what information, if any, we hold about you, and ask us to delete it, by emailing us using the address in the footer of this site. Because we collect so little personal data in the first place, in most cases we'll have nothing to give you beyond what's described on this page.

A note on this page

This policy is a plain-language summary written for a small, independent website, not a substitute for professional legal advice. If you have specific compliance concerns, we'd recommend having it reviewed by a solicitor familiar with UK data protection law.
